Tiny Stitches, Inc. is a 501 C (3) non-profit organization based in Gwinnett County. Their purpose is to provide basic layettes to disadvantaged newborns and preemies on north Georgia and to provide burial ensembles to any family who suffers the loss of an infant regardless of their financial status. All layettes and burial ensembles are given anonymously.

Tiny Stitches welcomes anyone who sews, knits, crochets or who would like to learn these skills. The only skill necessary is knowing how to use a pair of scissors! Volunteers working with Tiny Stitches range from the age of 12 - 93.
Needy mothers are given a diaper bag with a layette provided by Tiny Stitches. Included in the diaper bag are 4 gowns, 4 sleepers, 4 lap front shirts, 2 receiving blankets, 1 crib quilts, creepers (summer only), bibs, burp cloths and a tote bags. Knitted and crocheted include caps, bonnets, blankets, booties and sweaters. Tiny Stitches gives out an average of 75 bags a month; all items are made by volunteers.
Sewing supplies (fabrics) and yarn are available free of charge to volunteers.
